For over a century, the Boy Scouts of America has created a strong foundation of leadership, service, and community for millions of America’s youth ranging from ages 6 – 21. In 2012 the organization celebrated two centennial anniversaries: the 1st Scout achieved Eagle rank and the organization launched “Boys Life” as its official magazine.
The Revolutionary Trails Council, one of the first councils established in the United States, has impacted the lives of over 8,000 men and women through a variety of age specific programs in the central New York counties of Oneida, Herkimer, Madison, Hamilton, Lewis, and Otsego. Since 1913, over 4,300 Scouts have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout under the guidance of leaders in our council.Â
